Asterfax Homepage

Most of the install steps have been done already. the configuration is the default.

• Asterfax is located in /usr/lib/Asterfax
• start Asterfax by running
  • ./asterfax.sh (needs Java in the path)
  • ./nohupasterfax.sh

Asterfax expects the java command to be in the path. This is not the case with the Sun Java RPM. I have re-worked the Wildfired startup script to start Asterfax. It will look for the latest Java version and set the path and start Asterfax.

This page needs more info as the config is not complete. Not being a fax-er myself since the invention of email I can’t do significant testing or integration. If someone gets this to work properly I can integrate the procedure in the install/upgrade process.
